Lo-fi soul specialists Sargeant X Comrade are returning on our stereos with another mesmeric song called “Old Familiar Feelin’”.
The Canadian duo teamed up with producer Evgeniy for this truly gorgeous track. Colin Adhikary (drums) and Daniel Neva (acoustic bass) were also featured on this jazzy track whose minimalist production makes it something that hip hop innovators like Westside Gunn would easily rap over.
Singer Yolanda Sargeant remarks, “Have you ever invested so much energy into making something work, only to look back and see you’re exactly where you started?
