It is only recently that Rose Black crossed into my radar. The France-based Cameroonian singer has a new song that I can’t get enough of. “Mè Tama” arrived in July.
This song fuses Afrobeat rhythms with elements of R&B. A midtempo track with filled with smooth, emotive melodies, “Mè Tama” feels quite soul-stirring (song title translates to “all alone” in the artist’s Bassa language).
