Even after releasing an amazing album in the form of Call Your Mother (October 2024), American Authors have kept the momentum up, releasing a string of captivating songs this year.
The latest from the New York-based trio is an exhilarating indie pop anthem called “Race Car”. Trust me, you’ll love this one.
“Race Car” is captures the thrilling feeling of falling for someone so fast that you’re probably also aware that it won’t last. Band frontman Zac Barnett explains, “It’s that intense feeling of passion you find on a trip or vacation only for it to disintegrate once you get back to reality.”
