After impressing listeners a year ago with her debut single, Singaporean singer elysrei is back with her second. Named “Be My Muse”, it is a piano-guided and emotionally resonant ballad.
With this one, elysrei penned a heart-warming love song about revelling in the moment while fully aware that nothing lasts forever.
“I wanted to capture that pure, childlike feeling of love–the kind we all remember from our first crushes before life made us guarded,” she reveals. “Those quiet moments when someone’s presence makes you feel completely safe, like when you’re a kid and the world still feels simple. ‘Be My Muse’ is about choosing to feel that openly again, even when adulthood tells us to protect ourselves.“
