Out on Secret Road Records, “BRB” is layered with melodies, offering listeners a introspective yet calming soundscape. The alt-R&B song heartfeltly embraces the beauty of solitude.
Dana explains: “This one is about how, as introverts, we enjoy alone time and space in order to recharge our batteries. It’s our ode to slowing down in such a fast-paced world.”
I’ve always been a fan of Dana and her indie-inflected sound, and Ella is an Aussie artist I started keeping tabs on since I heard her 2022 song “Chicken“.
