Landing on the 22nd September 2025, Never Two Days The Same is the new 11 track studio album from UK singer-songwriter and guitarist Steve Hewitt.

The Kent (England) based artist returns with a refined collection of material that weaves together Americana, Folk and Country overtones with a deeply acoustic soul. Produced by Paul West, Never Two Days The Same is an album that further embodies Steve’s passion for artistic versatility, all wrapped up with the unvarnished production that captures his stripped-down approach to recording. Hewitt’s acclaimed debut album Bigger Than Words (2019) introduced an eclectic heart-on-sleeve songwriter fusing various genres – here the new album offers a slightly different edge, with a maturity and evolution in his song-craft and a sonic delivery more akin to his rustic ‘live’ sound.

Honest, soul-bearing and universally relatable are words that describe Hewitt as a songwriter. Simple effective melodies drive each song through his attention commanding, soulful and velvety vocal tone. Lyrical themes are born from both an introspective and observational lens, but regardless of the light moods or sombre shades of the songs, Hewitt relentlessly delivers his stories in pleasantly melodic ways. This is music from the heart and perspective of a humble, working class father and husband, Never Two Days The Same is a richly acoustic flavoured album, shying away from predictable instrumentation and modern studio polishing. Adding dynamic depth to a number of tracks are Paul West (Vocals, Drums), Louise Parsons (Vocals), Ant Wellman (Bass) and Miriam Cox (Cello).

Well noted for his intimate live performances and enduring presence on the British acoustic music scene, Steve Hewitt has opened stages for a diverse range of artists including Martin Simpson, Mark Morriss (The Bluetones), Newton Faulkner, Jenn Bostic. Robb Johnson, The South and Emma Stevens and has appeared at the likes of The British Country Music Festival, Car Fest and Black Deer Festival. Hewitt’s single releases has also received airplay around the globe, support from BBC Radio Kent and featured on channels such as Hot Country TV (UK & Ireland) and The Country Network (US).
