Quentin Moore‘s music captures the essence of ’70s soul: smoothly groovy and passionate. This holds true on his brand new offering, an EP titled Ride With You, which is out today, October 24.
The 5-song project was preceded by the title-track and the single “Kiss Your Lips”. Other songs on it are “You Look So Good”, “I Can’t Believe” and “Don’t Forget Me”. A lovely music video accompanied “Kiss Your Lips”.
About “Kiss Your Lips”, the singer-songwriter noted: “I wanted to bring that ’70s soul energy into the record. Isaac Hayes had this incredible way of stacking piano and bass in unison, and I borrowed that technique here. Combined with the vibraphones and the groove, it created something both classic and fresh.”
This EP is simply amazing, and no amount of words could capture the feeling I had when listening to it for the first time. So, I’ll just let you listen and enjoy.
