Ananda Đuranović, or simply Ananda, is a talented Croatian singer-songwriter and producer who’s been on an ascending trajectory. The musician has a new EP titled Duende. I learnt about this project after stumbling on the title track.
“Duende” encapsulates Ananda’s cinematic alt-pop sound. Elements of power pop and dark pop are easily discernible. The song is harmony-filled and quite emotionally charged, its lyrics lending intensity to the vocals. It is deeply pensive.
